What's new in newcomers ?
Today i had spent 4 hrs on the Youtube. Watched Rajeev Masand's rountable interview with the new comer stars of bollywood industry. I had found most of them very real compare to the previous generation of bollywood actors/actresses. When i watch interviews of Kareena Kapoor Khan and Rani Mukherjee (long time in bollywood) or even Deepika Padukone or Aliya Bhatt (not an old generation of bollywood), i feel quite make over of words, little celebrity thing. But these fresh faces like Siddhanta Chaturvedi, Abhimanyu Dassani, Ananya Pandey, Geetika Vidya Ohlyan🙌, Saloni Batra, Vishal Jethwa and Tara Sutariya. They are too relatable for others. Whatever they shared about their journeys, state stuck moment, inspiration towarss bollywood etc. Everything was so easily believable.
I can connect everyone of them as when Siddhant talks about his inspiration towards bollywood 'Govinda’ or 'Shahrukh Khan'. Me and my brothers had grown up watching 'Govinda and Shakti Kapoor' or 'Govinda and Karishma Kapoor' or 'Govinda with Sanjay Dutt' or with 'Amitabh Bachchan', so many are there. Not only there, Shahrukh's moments can not even expressed in words. My half of the family sat together to watch 'K3G' or 'Kal Ho Na Ho'.
And when Vishal Jethwa expressed his meet with Hrithik Roshan or experience on the set 'Mardaani 2', I can believe because those who had watched his work on television could understand his situation. He had worked in Sony TV's program 'Maharana Pratap' ( I don't know the full name of the daily soap), I remember that I had crush on him. I love to see him daily on that screen.
There are so many other examples too.
Look at Geetika's bravery. No biggest star of bollywood even today can not speak a word before thinking and this lady and appealed for justice in 'Unnao' case in front of digital media openly. We all felt the same. So many bollywood stars stand for 'Kathua' before. But going with the group or tweeting on social media at the time of crime is easy but stand with it alone till justice is not served is something called Bravery.
Not disscusing about Abhimanyu will be unjustice. But I will talk about him properly in other blog as I am flabbergasted with his work after watching his movie 'Mard ko dard nahi hota'. Sonali too deserves words. But yet I had not watched her work in 'Soni', so I just wait till then.
Ananya and Tara's movies are not in my list but I like Taras attitude. Her way of looking at conditions and so much maturity she posses than characters she had played(I think). Tara really had that quality to be something great.
Ananya's thoughts tell me about the sweetest and simplest form of life. It just so simple and sweet and kind life is. She has very direct perspective towards life. Just take it easy. I really need to learn from her.
New had maintained it's newness. It's fragrance. Feel it.
